First For Family History was established in 2008 by full time professional
genealogist Marie Foden.
Marie's main objective is to help bring her clients' ancestors to life.
She offers a free consultation at the start of the research, and then outlines an
affordable package. Each client has different needs and Marie works closely to
achieve her clients' goals.
Different types of records are analysed including birth, marriage and
death certificates, census returns, parish registers, military records and passenger ship
lists. The findings are then presented in a comprehensive report, with a basic pedigree
chart.
It is very common to hit a brick wall when researching your ancestry, but do not let it
be a barrier against tracing back further. Whatever the problem, Marie’s
expertise in genealogy will move your research on.
She has the Higher Certificate in Genealogy from the Institute of Heraldic
and Genealogical Studies. Marie is a member of the Association of Professional
Genealogists and First For Family History is Data Protection Registered
